Austin Proper Hotel is a luxurious lifestyle hotel boasting over 200 guest rooms and suites, a personal care spa, a fitness center, 14,000 square feet of event space, and a rooftop pool deck serving exclusive cocktails and sunset views. Austin Proper is the second of four Proper Hotels that Sound Investment has been contracted to provide audio system design and integration services. In preparation for the Hotel’s opening, Sound Investment was brought on as the audio visual design and integration team for this multi-year project.
Within each level of this eleven-story hotel, we worked side by side with a world-famous interior design team to ensure our Funktion One, Full Fat Audio, and BSS control systems seamlessly flowed with the designer’s brilliant decor. Each piece of furniture and decor had been strategically placed in each room, which required our audio team to get creative with the placement of our systems.
The goal was to incorporate our best technology within their aesthetic, to not only sound amazing but to look as equally as beautiful. With the Full Fat Audio dual mono approach, we were able to reliably and efficiently ensure high-quality sound amplification on demand and provide ultimate bass performance. The capabilities of our team reach beyond what’s imaginable—anything less wouldn’t be Proper.
