The Tommie, located in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, is an eleven-story hotel with highly sought-after amenities including an outdoor signature restaurant, a Pioneertown inspired rooftop bar, and a pool. This hotel packs all of the California vibes guests could ever dream of in a relaxed but still highly luxurious environment.
In early 2022, our team completed a multi-year project to design and integrate a high-end audio system for the outdoor restaurant, KA’TEEN, and rooftop lounge, Desert Five Spot. With room for over 350 people, Desert Five Spot consists of a lounge bar, pool, and breathtaking 360-degree views of the LA skyline and the Hollywood sign.
On the first floor, KA’TEEN guests have access to over 5,000 square feet of vibrant dining space. The priority of the audio system design was to emphasize a multi-zone, multi-source audio system using Funktion One speakers, Full Fat Audio amplification, and BSS in both spaces. The combination of these systems allows for sound in its purest form to reach every inch of the space providing guests with an optimum audio experience.
The Tommie Hollywood is one of three projects our team has been contracted to design and install for Hyatt Hotels Corporation in the Los Angeles area.
