Experience the pulsating heartbeat of Hollywood’s nightlife at Academy LA, the ultimate entertainment destination boasting an expansive and intimate space teeming with world-class production. As the epicenter of Los Angeles’ dance music community, Academy LA has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from its previous iterations as Qtopia, Vanguard, and Create into the dynamic powerhouse it is today, all thanks to the collaborative efforts of Insomniac and Exchange LA in 2017.
Enter Sound Investment, the visionary team entrusted with the monumental task of providing audio system design and integration services for Vanguard, Create, and the illustrious Academy LA. From the moment Create Nightclub emerged in 2012, our team set the stage for sonic brilliance, elevating the venue’s auditory experience with a cutting-edge system upgrade that left clubgoers enraptured.
Fast forward to late 2017, when Academy LA emerged as the reigning monarch of Hollywood nightlife. Undaunted by the challenge, our team embarked on a mission to raise the bar even higher, unleashing the full potential of the venue with a transformative audio overhaul. Out went the old, and in came the new – Funktion-One Veros, F124 subwoofers, and upgraded amplifiers – all seamlessly integrated into the existing rigging points to ensure an unparalleled auditory experience.
But our journey didn’t end there. Aware of the venue’s proximity to a retirement center, Sound Investment collaborated tirelessly with Academy LA and city officials to ensure that sound remained contained within the venue’s walls, sparing neighboring residents from any unwanted noise disturbances.
Throughout this exhilarating journey, we had the distinct pleasure of working hand in hand with Academy LA’s visionary owners, Adi and Cam, and their dedicated production crew. Our collaborative partnership enables us to provide consistent support and training to the venue’s technicians and audio engineers, ensuring seamless operation of the cutting-edge systems installed.
As the sun sets over Hollywood Boulevard, Academy LA stands as a beacon of innovation and excitement, a testament to the transformative power of collaboration and the unwavering dedication of the Sound Investment team. Step into the electrifying world of Academy LA, where every beat, every pulse, ignites the senses and leaves an indelible mark on the vibrant tapestry of Hollywood nightlife!
