Flash Nightclub & Bar, a dynamic and intimate music venue in Washington, D.C., opened its doors in June 2013. Born from a collaboration between music lovers, former DJs, and industry veterans, Flash aimed to create a space where artists could express themselves with unparalleled clarity and fans could enjoy their favorite music in an ideal setting. To achieve this vision, Flash contracted Sound Investment to design and integrate a cutting-edge audio-visual system that would elevate the nightclub’s offerings to new heights.

Our team at Sound Investment crafted an audio system that meets the highest standards of performance and clarity. The Club Level, Flash’s main dance floor, features an acoustically treated, studio-quality room equipped with a custom Funktion-One sound system. Known for its precise, transparent, and dynamic sound, the Funktion-One setup ensures that every beat and melody is delivered with exceptional clarity and warmth. This system, paired with a next-generation lighting rig, creates an immersive environment that heightens the overall sensory experience.

Flash Nightclub’s ground floor, aptly named Flash Bar, includes a separate dance floor and DJ area, complete with a fully stocked bar specializing in a wide selection of liquors and hand-crafted cocktails. To ensure seamless audio integration, we installed additional high-quality speakers and sound equipment, allowing for a consistent auditory experience throughout the venue.

The rooftop, known as the Green Room, offers a unique open-air experience with a third DJ booth and dance floor. Featuring a fully retractable top and bi-fold doors, the rooftop is surrounded by greenery and lounge seating, providing stunning views of D.C. The extended bar menu on the roof includes frozen cocktails, organic juices, and kombucha, creating a refreshing atmosphere for patrons. Our audio design for the Green Room ensures that the sound quality remains impeccable, even in an outdoor setting.

Flash hosts a diverse range of national and international DJ talents, covering a wide spectrum of house and techno music, as well as other genres.
