LIV Nightclub is a sophisticated venue within Fontainebleau, renowned for its high-energy atmosphere and world-class DJs. The club features a variety of spaces, each requiring high-fidelity sound that complements its sleek interior design. To meet these demands, Sound Investment chose Funktion-One speakers for their unique ability to deliver powerful, high-fidelity sound while maintaining a compact form factor.
The main floor sound system at LIV Nightclub utilizes Funktion-One’s new flagship vertical arrayable speakers, Vero VX90. These speakers combine the high fidelity that Funktion-One is known for with the advantages of a line source, ensuring clear and immersive audio throughout the venue. Low frequencies are managed by a two-way array system featuring the F221 and BR132 models. The F221 is a horn-loaded, dual 21” driver cabinet that covers conventional lower frequency ranges with speed and accuracy. Meanwhile, the BR132 is a true subwoofer that handles the ultra-low frequencies found in modern EDM tracks, powered by a 20kW on-board amplifier driving a proprietary carbon fiber piston. This combination ensures precise and powerful bass that meets the rigorous demands of live performances and EDM tracks.
System amplification at LIV Nightclub is handled by Full Fat Audio HD amplifiers, known for their reliability and high performance. The audio processing is managed by NST Audio DSP, which provides advanced digital signal processing capabilities to fine-tune the sound system for optimal performance. The front end of the system is controlled by the Allen & Heath D-Live System, a versatile and powerful mixing console that allows for precise control over the audio environment. The D-Live system also offers remote control capabilities, enabling operators to manage the sound from anywhere in the venue using a portable control surface.
LIV Nightclub’s audio system is designed to deliver an unparalleled auditory experience, ensuring that every beat and melody is heard with crystal clarity and powerful impact. By integrating Funktion-One’s cutting-edge speakers with advanced amplification and processing technology, SI has created a sound system that enhances the club’s dynamic atmosphere and elevates the overall experience for guests. Whether it’s a high-energy DJ set or a live performance, the audio system at LIV Nightclub provides the perfect soundscape for unforgettable nights.
