Sound Investment partnered with PRYSM Nightclub, one of Chicago’s premier hybrid venues, to undertake an extensive audio design and integration project. Located in the lively Lincoln Park neighborhood, PRYSM spans 10,000 square feet and hosts live music acts, private events, and nightclub performances. The venue features three distinct areas: the Main Room, the Mezzanine, and the Champagne Lounge, also known as No.9 to regular patrons.
Our goal at Sound Investment was to elevate PRYSM Nightclub’s standing as a top nightlife and event destination. Recognized among the Top 10 Best Electronic Nightclubs in Chicago, PRYSM needed an audio system that could deliver exceptional sound quality across its various spaces.
For the Main Room and Mezzanine, where high-energy EDM performances are a staple, we installed Funktion-One loudspeakers. Known for their precise and dynamic sound, these speakers provide an immersive audio experience, capturing every beat and note with clarity and warmth. The superior stereo imaging and even dynamics across the frequency spectrum ensure an authentic music experience for both DJs and audiences.
In the more intimate Champagne Lounge, or No.9, which features hip-hop tracks spun by talented DJs, we tailored the audio system to suit the unique acoustics of the space. The result is a crisp and engaging listening experience that complements the lounge’s ambiance.
Throughout the installation, we collaborated closely with PRYSM Nightclub’s staff to ensure the audio system integrated seamlessly with the venue’s modern design. The end result is a cutting-edge audio setup that enhances every event at PRYSM, from thrilling live music performances to elegant private gatherings.
