Side Bar Nightclub

Well known for unforgettable experiences and unparalleled customer service is none other than San Diego’s most lively and intimate boutique nightclub and lounge, Side Bar. In preparation for their opening in 2018, Sound Investment was contracted to complete a full AV system design and integration project for Side Bar’s club and lounge. 

As San Diego’s hottest nightclub, our audio team understood that a top of the line audio system was a bare minimum requirement for this installation. The club was packed with an abundance of Funktion One speakers, with Full Fat Audio amplifiers spread throughout the establishment and paired with BSS processing and control technology. Full Fat Audio is known for their reliable high frequency audio power amplifiers for professional audio. In the lounge, our audio team installed Funktion One bass reflex loudspeakers that provide deep near-field bass from a compact enclosure. One of the trickiest parts of this installation was integrating the club’s main speakers into a low ceiling while avoiding the Side Bar’s gorgeous lighting fixtures and maintaining the club’s aesthetic. Side Bar Nightclub has become the city’s number-one spot for an incredible evening of dancing, and live DJ performances.
