Located in Orange County, Los Angeles—a region known for its dynamic nightlife and entertainment—Time Nightclub stands as a premier hotspot in the heart of California’s entertainment capital. This 14,000-square-foot venue offers a pulsating, upscale atmosphere that immerses guests in music and visuals at every turn. As part of an ambitious AV system design and integration project, Sound Investment was selected to transform Time Nightclub’s sound and visual experience. Our goal was to create an audio setup that perfectly complemented the club’s high-energy ambiance, ultimately enhancing each visitor’s experience from the moment they enter.
One of Time Nightclub’s most striking features is its massive 40-foot-tall LED wall positioned behind the DJ booth, which showcases vivid visuals and dynamic graphics. However, the setup presented a unique design challenge: low-hanging speakers partially overlapped the LED wall, which limited visibility of the visuals and required a customized solution. To overcome this, our team crafted bespoke stage fill speaker hangs that allowed for optimal sound coverage of the dance floor while preserving a clear, unobstructed view of the LED wall. This adjustment ensured that every beat and bassline was as powerful as the visuals without compromising the audience’s view of the LED visuals and branding.
The Sound Investment team installed a high-caliber combination of Funktion-One loudspeakers and Full Fat Audio amplifiers, which deliver pristine sound quality and exceptional power. We paired these with control and processing equipment to ensure seamless audio management throughout the club. To address any potential audio latency issues between the stage and surrounding areas, we precisely delayed the stage fill speakers, aligning them perfectly with the perimeter and bar speakers. This attention to audio synchronization created a cohesive and immersive sound experience across the entire club, ensuring that every note resonated in perfect harmony.
Time Nightclub has since become a benchmark for premium club audio design, with Sound Investment’s AV installation delivering an unforgettable soundscape that complements one of LA’s most exciting venues.
