Sound Investment Audio was selected by Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants to design and integrate the audio system for Aba Nashville, one of the Gulch’s most anticipated luxury dining destinations. As our first project in Music City, this installation showcases our commitment to creating immersive, high-end soundscapes that elevate the guest experience without overwhelming the room.
From the outset, our team approached Aba Nashville with a focus on clarity, consistency, and sophistication. The restaurant’s architecture and interior design, led by Powell with contributions from Avril Zayas and Marc Jacobs, feature warm Mediterranean influences that evoke summer along the coasts of Spain, Greece, and Morocco. To complement such a thoughtfully crafted space, we engineered an audio environment that feels seamless, natural, and purpose-built.
Our design centered around a high speaker count strategically positioned to create even coverage throughout the 8,700 sq ft indoor dining room, the 2,800 sq ft outdoor patio, and the 300-plus guest seating areas. This approach ensured that every table experiences balanced audio that supports conversation rather than competing with it. Through close acoustic collaboration with the ownership team, we refined the system to enhance the restaurant’s ambiance while maintaining sound integrity across every zone.
The result is an elevated auditory atmosphere that matches the level of detail found in the interiors, culinary program, and overall hospitality vision. At Aba Nashville, audio becomes an integral part of the dining experience—subtle, intentional, and built to complement the energy of a premier restaurant.
