Beatnik West Town is a stylishly luxurious restaurant aesthetically designed after the 1950s bohemian artistic legacy. Beatnik is located a few miles northwest of their other location along the Chicago River.
This restaurant space has a truly nostalgic and spirited atmosphere. The layout and decor was influenced by Yves Saint Laurent, a pioneering genius. He transformed his era and democratized fashion.
Fabricated by the restaurant owner, Maison Bonhomme, Beatnik offers the best qualities in hospitality from Morocco, France, and Italy. Every aspect of the guest’s experience is crafted with excellence. Beatnik West Town has a unique look.
They also have a modern, international menu and a carefully chosen soundtrack. The atmosphere is heavily influenced by Yves Saint Laurent and the beatnik movement.
Sound Investment was tasked with completing a full audio design and integration for this establishment. Our team installed a series of Funktion-One speakers including F81 and F1201 tops with BR115 subwoofers.
We faced a challenge and had to get creative when deciding where to place the speakers. Beatnik had seating space for 200 people that was decorated extravagantly and filled with antique pieces.
We managed to fill all 8,000 square feet of the restaurant with immersive sound. This sound was strategically woven throughout the space while still providing a comfortable dining atmosphere. The speakers were hidden amongst the 400+ living plants and carefully curated antiques from around the world.
