Komodo Las Vegas, the latest in a series of world-renowned restaurants following its Miami and Dallas locations, opened in December 2023 as part of a multi-venue design and integration project for Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Known for its Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, inventive cocktails, and vibrant social atmosphere, Komodo offers an immersive experience. The restaurant’s decor, which combines elements of a futuristic rainforest with bamboo pillars, scarlet orchids, and plush banquettes, creates a visually striking environment. To match this captivating ambiance, Komodo needed an audio system capable of delivering impeccable sound quality, further enhancing the venue’s lively and upscale vibe.
Sound Investment was tasked with handling the complete audio system design and integration, collaborating closely with the architectural team during the design phase, the construction team for installation, and the operations team for deployment. Our top-to-bottom approach ensured seamless integration that not only met Komodo’s brand standards but also amplified the guest experience, creating an audio environment that matched the restaurant’s luxurious design and energetic atmosphere.
For this project, Sound Investment installed Funktion-One loudspeakers, NST amplifiers, and Full Fat Audio (FFA) systems, all chosen for their exceptional clarity and powerful output. These systems were crucial in delivering immersive, high-quality sound throughout Komodo’s dining and entertainment spaces, from the intimate dining areas to the lively bar. We employed our SI standard design techniques to ensure consistent sound coverage across the venue while maintaining Komodo’s signature high-energy atmosphere.
