Sushi-San Nashville brought Sound Investment into the project with a clear goal: create an audio and video environment that delivers the same personality, punch, and precision as the restaurant’s signature golden-era hip hop soundtrack. Using BagEnd speakers and subwoofers, Powersoft amplification, QSC control, and Tannoy speakers for the patio, we designed an AV system that supports that identity at every hour of operation. As Lettuce Entertain You’s newest concept in 12 South, the space blends high-quality Japanese cuisine, warm hospitality, and an energetic, youth-driven crowd. Our job was to design and integrate an AV system that could support that identity at every hour of operation.
Unlike a traditional dining room, Sushi-San Nashville needed sound with presence. Evenings get crowded, the music leans into ‘90s and ‘00s hip hop, and the room thrives on energy. That meant building an audio system capable of being driven at higher levels while preserving clarity, balance, and tonal control. Every zone of the restaurant, including the patio, required coverage that felt full and intentional without overwhelming the guest experience.
Our design approach centered on performance. We engineered the system to deliver strong low-end impact, articulate vocals, and smooth distribution, allowing the music to fill the space evenly whether the room is half-full or packed wall-to-wall. Careful tuning ensured the sound remains refined, even at elevated volumes, aligning with the quality and precision that define the brand.
Because Sushi-San Nashville has quickly become a widely discussed addition to the city’s dining scene—following Lettuce Entertain You’s success with Aba—its atmosphere needed to match the momentum. The AV system plays a foundational role in bringing that energy to life, supporting the restaurant’s identity from the first guest of the day to the last service of the night.
This project reflects Sound Investment’s ability to design hospitality audio environments that perform at a higher level, delivering experiences that feel modern, cohesive, and built for high-end operators who expect their sound system to do more than just blend into the background.
