At SW Steakhouse inside Wynn Las Vegas, every detail is designed to shape an elevated dining experience. Known for its premium cuts, sophisticated atmosphere, and sweeping views of the Lake of Dreams, the restaurant required an audio upgrade capable of matching the energy and refinement of the space. Sound Investment Audio was brought in to enhance overall system performance while integrating seamlessly into the restaurant environment.
This project centered on a precise audio-only retrofit. The existing ceiling remained intact, so our team executed a full one-for-one replacement of the in-ceiling speakers using Sonance units that matched each original cutout exactly. This approach allowed SW Steakhouse to gain significantly improved clarity and consistency without requiring invasive construction or modifications to the existing ceiling infrastructure.
To enhance warmth and impact, elements the previous system lacked, we integrated discreet Funktion-One and One Sound subwoofers. These additions brought depth and fullness to the dining room, aligning the audio presence with the richness and theatricality of the restaurant experience.
Behind the scenes, Sound Investment modernized the system’s technical core. Outdated components were replaced with Full Fat Audio amplification and NST Audio processing, delivering cleaner signal flow, tighter control, and greater reliability throughout service. This front-end refresh ensured the new system not only sounded better, but performed with the stability required by a high-volume luxury venue.
Despite the restaurant’s popularity and demanding schedule, the entire retrofit for SW Steakhouse was completed in just one week. The result is a refined, more dimensional soundscape that enhances the dining experience without drawing attention to itself, an upgrade designed to complement one of Las Vegas’ most recognized hospitality destinations.
