The Pawn Shop was built to redefine what a sports bar can be. Backed by Mark Cuban and located in the heart of Hollywood, the 7,800-square-foot destination brings together chef-driven dining from James Beard Award-winning chef Tony Messina, premium hospitality, and a technology experience designed for fans who want to be part of every moment. With 53 displays, a massive LED video wall, a 50-seat bar, and seven private stadium-style suites, every detail of the venue was created to keep guests connected to the action. Sound Investment Audio was selected to design and integrate the complete audio and video system that makes it all possible.
Completed in June 2026, the project included audio and video system design and integration throughout the restaurant, main bar, and private hospitality spaces. The venue required an AV infrastructure capable of supporting multiple games, private events, and day-to-day operations while providing staff with the flexibility to manage content throughout the property.
At the center of The Pawn Shop is a 1.5-million-pixel Aspen high-definition LED video wall that serves as the focal point for major sporting events. Commercial-grade Samsung displays were installed throughout the venue to provide reliable, long-term performance, while a WyreStorm video matrix gives staff complete control over video routing. Whether broadcasting one featured matchup across the venue or sending different games to individual displays, the system was designed to adapt as quickly as the day’s schedule changes.
The audio system was built with the same level of flexibility. Martin Audio loudspeakers, Bag End subwoofers, and QSC audio processing work together to deliver balanced, high-quality sound throughout the restaurant. Rather than overwhelming the room with volume, the system provides clear, consistent coverage that supports both casual dining and the energy of game day.
One of the defining features of The Pawn Shop is its seven private stadium-style suites overlooking the main bar. Each suite operates as an independent entertainment space with its own dedicated audio and video package, allowing guests to choose the games they want to watch while controlling their own audio through Bluetooth connectivity. Whether hosting a fantasy football draft, corporate event, birthday celebration, or private watch party, every suite offers a personalized viewing experience without affecting neighboring spaces.
