Trade is an upscale restaurant offering a boutique nightlife scene and excellent Greek Mediterranean cuisine by celebrity Chef Jody Adams. When the restaurant opened in 2011, they established simple but effective goals: to provide great atmosphere, service, and food. With the pure talent of their friendly and qualified staff, two of those three goals were easily achieved. A great atmosphere is determined by the pervading tone or mood of a space. This is where our audio team came in to provide our expertise.
The Sound Investment team worked with restaurateur Eric Papachristos to incorporate our audio system design into his restaurant, Trade. Sound Investment consolidated Funktion One and Full Fat Audio systems within the restaurant’s elegant design, providing exceptional definition and full-bodied vocal intelligibility. The systems installed include F1201’s and BR118’s which provide a deep near-field bass from a compact enclosure. This combination of systems is an unparalleled duo.
Speakers were located in a multitude of places including within the ceiling which allowed sound to cascade throughout the entirety of the restaurant. The wildly successful nightlife scene at Trade is supported by Pioneer DJ Gear CDJ 3000s and DJM 900. Our team created a revitalizing and experiential atmosphere that allows Trade to be a place where families and friends deepen their connections.
