KitchenAid, a brand known for its innovative kitchen appliances, made history during New York Fashion Week by holding the world’s first mixer-inspired fashion show. KitchenAid has been around since 1919, having started with the design and manufacture of the stand mixer, which remains its most iconic product to this day.
For its debut fashion show, KitchenAid’s event planning team chose Iron 23 as the ideal venue. Iron 23 is a state-of-the-art event space located in the Flatiron District of New York City. The venue features advanced technology and equipment, including a built-in sound system and projector screens.
The fashion show featured a collaboration with designer Marta Del Rio and showcased one-of-a-kind fashion designs inspired by the lines and curves of several KitchenAid mixers and the new Color of the Year, Hibiscus. The fashion designers who participated in the show were top-notch, including Tara Babylon, Tia Adeola, Bach Mai, Man Made Skins and Marta Del Rio herself.
