Moonlight Studios NYC set the stage for an unforgettable experience during New York Fashion Week, hosting National Geographic’s “Fit For A Queen” runway show. Renowned as one of NYFW24’s most innovative events, “Fit For A Queen” drew inspiration from National Geographic’s groundbreaking docuseries “Queens“, which delves into the captivating realms ruled by female leaders in the animal kingdom.

The event, crafted with the support of Sound Investment’s comprehensive AV services, including audio, video, lighting, staging and scenic design, transported attendees into the mesmerizing worlds unveiled in “Queens”. Seamlessly blending choreographed performances, immersive video displays, and holographic projections, National Geographic’s guests were immersed in a sensory journey unlike any other.

A highlight of the show was the appearance of a life-sized hologram depicting a majestic lioness, redefining the traditional notion of a “catwalk”. Featuring designs from acclaimed fashion designers including JêBlanc, Sergio Hudson, Bohn Jsell, AnOnlyChild, Head of State, Theophilio, Studio 189, Bed on Water, Almasika, and L’Enchanteur, alongside footwear by Téjahn Burnet, the runway showcased a fusion of creativity and elegance.

“Queens”, National Geographic’s groundbreaking wildlife documentary series led by women, is set to premiere on March 4, airing on National Geographic, Disney+, and Hulu. The “Fit For A Queen” runway show served as a captivating prelude, offering a glimpse into the majestic world awaiting viewers.
